Customer experience: Mobair K improved ventilation and eliminated negative pressure
I live in a detached house built in 1977 with a mechanical exhaust system. For several winters, I noticed excessive negative pressure indoors, especially at night when all doors and vents are closed. This issue is likely common in other homes built in the 1970s and 1980s.
By chance, I came across a newspaper article about the Mobair supply air unit and began to research how it works. It turned out to be exactly the right solution for my long-standing ventilation problem.
I installed Mobair K units in the vent windows of three bedrooms. They were easy to install myself—just drill a 100 mm hole in the windows and screw on the base plate. The unit snaps into place on the base and is ready to use! The best location is vent windows, if your windows have them. Another, slightly more labor-intensive option is installation directly through the wall.
I believe my ventilation now works without excessive negative pressure and is cost-effective. I also no longer need to consider replacing the entire ventilation system with one that includes heat recovery. I recommend looking into Mobair units if you want a quick and easy ventilation upgrade!

A few years later
A few years ago, I installed three supply air vents in the bedrooms because of suspected underpressure. Especially in winter, I felt heavy and tired in the mornings.
Now, after several winters, the experience is positive. The feeling of living in a house with negative pressure is gone. There’s no draft in cold weather, and no cold air comes through keyholes or electrical outlets.
The vents’ heating system is an excellent and functional invention—in cold weather you can heat incoming fresh air, or let air in unheated when it’s mild outside. The indoor air feels fresher overall. My experiences with the Mobair K supply air vents I installed are very positive.
