Lounea Oy has utilized Mobair ventilation equipment for cooling their equipment and base stations since 1995. Property Manager Pertti Koivula has been actively involved in developing a system that efficiently serves a wide range of cooling applications.
Operating Principle
Equipment rooms, such as telecom base stations, are cooled using free cooling fans and a separate cooling unit. When the outdoor temperature is lower than the equipment room temperature, fans are used for cooling.
The system's automation optimally controls the operation of fans and the compressor unit to minimize energy consumption. Monitoring and alarm connections can be easily integrated.
The Mobair DC fan unit operates in conjunction with a two-part cooling system. In summer, cooling is provided by the compressor; in winter, by the fans.
